I didn’t expect such a great response from everyone. More than 200 people have clicked on my blog since yesterday morning. I hope that means that at least 200+ people are praying. At the moment things are quiet and people are going about their business as usual, but everyone is waiting to see what might go down tomorrow. Keep praying. Only God can keep the peace.

Jr – I grew up in Bethel, and God has blessed and burdened my heart for Haiti (we met several years ago). Through 5 trips, I have fallen in love with the dignity and grace of the Haitian people. I am prayerful for the elections tomorrow. Having been in Haiti during rioting, I know it can be very scary. I am praying for you, the work you are doing there, and for the elections tomorrow. While I know the Lavalas threats are very real, I also know we serve a God who closes lions mouths and protects the weak. As you face this uncertainty, please know you are being surrounded in prayer.

Junior – I am a friend of Betty Jodrey, Dottie Diehl and Dorothy Abrams. I am a board member for TLC Barefoot School. I stand in prayer with you. I pray God’s supernatural protection upon you. A wall of protection around you, your family, TLC, the Christians in Port-au-Prince. God has not given a spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind!
